Fall Break

She had a week off of school so we took the opportunity to head to Atlanta, GA for the week!

We went to Capyfiends cafe and had the chance to feed and pet capybaras which was the highlight of the trip!
We visited the world of Coca-Cola which was pretty cool!
We rode a couple blocks on a driverless car. It sounds scary but it was really cool.
This is what the car looks like.
We went to the Georgia Aquarium.
And the Atlanta Zoo!
Abby insisted that we take a picture in the giant bird’s nest.
We also went to the Sloomoo Institute that has 8 rooms of slime!
Abby was on cloud nine!
Our hotel had a big hot tub and an indoor/outdoor pool. We went swimming everyday! She is a little fish!
We stopped at Buc-ee’s and had to get a picture with the statue!
Abby is still doing cub scouts and is a tiger this year. They are making flags in this picture.
They made binoculars and learned about constellations last week!

On a more serious note, Abby is being evaluated for tongue and check tie releases and we are also seeing if she needs her tonsils out. Please be praying for her. She is nervous about having surgery. We are trying to organize it so that both things get done at the same time so she has just one surgery. These procedures will help her breathe better at night and when playing. They will also allow the roof of her mouth to expand properly which will allow her jaw to grow a little. Once she breaths better, she will get better rest and have more energy during the day (and hopefully drop a couple of pounds). She is only having minor issues right now but we want to get things corrected early so that her mouth and airway have the opportunity to grow correctly.
