Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

There is not much new to report, but I want to put up a couple of pictures of our little goof ball.

One morning, she pushed her high chair close to the table and used it to climb on the table to get to the Cheerios. I guess I was taking to long to make breakfast. 🤷🏻‍♀️
When I turned around and caught her she quickly closed the box. 😂
She loves wearing her sunglasses and playing outside.

Happy Valentine’s Day!

This is Abby reading her llama llama Valentine’s Day book this morning in her Valentine’s Day PJs.
Abby’s Daddy got her a Valentine’s Day Rose!
Earlier this week, Abby went to the dentist for the first time (just for a check up)!
This cute girl loves spaghetti!
She still loves baby dolls!
She has started helping Mommy in the kitchen.
We hope everyone stays safe and warm this week! Where we live, we are supposed to get a big snow storm. Abby is ready for it!

15 months

Abby is 15 months old! She weighs 26.6 lbs and is 34 inches tall.

She loves baby dolls!
In December, she said her first word, “cookie!”Since then she also says, “hi,” “doggy,” “baby” and her name.
She loves books!
We made her a reading area for Christmas.
This was the best New Years picture that I could get of her.
She has just started coloring.

Happy Thanksgiving!

We hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving!

Abby had pancakes for the first time this morning and she loved them!
Jennifer’s parents and Shawn’s parents came to our house for Dinner.
Abby can stand on her own and has taken a couple of steps on accident. Once she realizes that no one holding on she sits down on the floor.
Abby still loves being read too!
Oh what a difference a year makes!
Abby went to see Santa (socially distanced of course). We hope everyone is staying healthy and safe during this pandemic.

Happy Halloween

We had a fun Halloween! We did not go trick or treating but we went to another family’s house in our costumes and had dinner.

Abby was the cutest bee! 🐝
Jennifer was also a bee and Shawn dressed as a bee keeper.
Our family was responsible for the dessert and we made Halloween Brownies!
I also took some pictures of Abby in our yard with pumpkins since we didn’t get to go to a pumpkin patch this year!
She insisted on having her bunny in the picture too! She takes that bunny lovie with her everywhere! (Don’t tell Abby but we actually have two so that they can be washed often)

Abby Turned One!

We had some professional pictures taken of our little one year old princess.
And she smashed a cake. She actually played in the icing for a few minutes and was done.
She went to her first soccer game.
We only stayed until half time because it was late, but she really seemed to enjoy the game!
The theme of her party was “Abby is Onederful.” We gave out these hand sanitizers as party favors.

During her party, we had lunch and then strawberry cupcakes with cream cheese icing.
She had three friends come to her party. It was hard to get them all to sit still and look at the camera.
The grandparents went a little over board with the presents.
We think she had a One-derful birthday weekend!

11 months

Abby is 11 months old! She is wearing 18 month clothes (and some 24 month), size three shoes, and size 4 diapers.

She can pull up now so it’s hard to get her to sit for pictures.
She is exploring her world and in to everything!
She can feed herself with a spoon!
Favorite foods are cottage cheese, mandarin oranges, bananas, blueberries, green beans, pasta with red sauce, and chicken salad.
She likes to stand on the porch
and watch the birds!
Bath time is still a favorite time of day! Sometimes Daddy gets in and plays with her (don’t worry, he is wearing swim trunks)
She is great at playing by herself and has a pretty long attention span for her age.
She is a very happy baby!
She is getting so strong and is close to walking!
She still has a thing about biting noses but we are working on that 🤷🏻‍♀️
